Beautycon
Beautycon is an annual convention celebrating everything about fashion and make-up, with stalls, exhibits, beauty expert panels , Q&As and meet-and-greet opportunities. Target’s space at the event was a zodiac-inspired experience that allowed our guests to connect with their own sign while discovering must-have products. This welcoming and engaging environment shaped sustainable relationships between Target and our guest, while telling a clear story and encouraging empowerment, exploration and plenty of social sharing and fun.
Zodiac Zones
Each sign of the zodiac was represented in it's own own Zodiac Zone with sign-specific messaging, icons and products. Each Zodiac Zone featured a Beauty Profile outlining key traits of the sign and which beauty products could help bring out their best features. For example: red lipstick was recommended for fiery Leos, while rockstar Scorpios were directed to black eyeliner.
We kept it cohesive and inclusive, featuring a varied assortment of products that tied back to the specific zodiac story while offering something for everyone.
Product Displays & Web Integration
Product was meticulously curated by zodiac sign for guests to explore and try out the best of Target's beauty offerings. Tablets were on display near the product zones for guests to purchase from Target.com or explore the full assortment of zodiac-inspired products at Target Finds.
Influencer Meet & Greet
Target Beauty’s influencer partner, Lauren Giraldo, conducted a meet & greet with fans at our “the moon made me do it” photo wall. She posed for shareable photos, chatted with fans and explored the space.
Selfie Wall
Guests were encouraged to snap & share selfies at the photo wall of twinkling constellations.
Swag Gifting Bar
Guests received trendy, iridescent makeup pouches packed with Target Beauty products, as well as a zodiac card with their sign’s profile & product recommendations. At the end of the bar, they could grab their zodiac sticker.
