Target Beauty: 2020-21
In today’s world there is no longer a singular definition of beauty, with more looks, lifestyles and possibilities than ever before. With this updated campaign, Target set out to empower guests by celebrating how beauty inspires more beauty – from what we put on to what we put out into the world. Our campaign focuses on the emotional takeaway our products give our guests, showing how beauty is more than a look but a feeling.
Executed during the height of the COVID pandemic, the team navigated through intense challenges, including significant impacts on guest behavior and beauty trends, remote shoots, health restrictions, and operational perplexity.
Influencer Partnerships
We partnered with a diverse set of beauty influencers to develop deeper connections and establish credibility for Target as a trusted resource in beauty. The intent was to open conversations about beauty, driven by lived experiences and sustained by connected story sharing. Content was diversified across numerous channels and utilized several content and unit types to reach our guests. The work delivered results that were substantially above the industry average.
